Listening the rising name and fame of the auspicious and the miraculous constantly running jyotis, the famous Dhyanu bhakt also came to the destination along with his thousand companions.
The king of that time, Akbar was informed at the same and he summoned Dhyanu bhakt in this court. The general accused him of raising his head in the regime of king. To this Dhyanu bhakt replied that he does not call himself to bigger than the king, Maa Jwala Ji as the biggest of all and she is the king of whole world and universe where as king Akbar was just the king of India. Being presented in front of the king. He was to show a miracle to prove his true devotedness towards his Maa.
King Akbar wanted to test the powers of mata Jwala Ji and that he could not. The general suggested to cut off the head of the horse and if the powers of mata were authentic. She would the head back on. Dhyanu bhakt called it as a sin the king had done and asked him should keep the head and the torso of the horse intact for a month. The king agreed and allowed him to do the rest of his pilgrimage.
Dhyanu bhakt proceeded and further upon reaching mata Jwala Ji temple, pleaded for her kripa and he begged her to fix the head of his horse and make it alive again and also that he would then he answer to King Akbar for the sinful act he did to set her powers. He prayed and begged for many days put his own head in front of Maa and offered it to her.
She was Maa and appeared immediately and put the head of her devotee back on his torso and gives him life again. Coming back to life Dhyanu bhakt and he fell on maa’s feet and prayed that he do not know the proper procedures and rituals to worship her. Maa agreed to accept the prayers and grant all wishes and got invisible thereafter.
Over there in Delhi, with the kripa of Maa, the horse head got attached to the torse and they again alive but Akbar still didn’t want to believe in the powers of Maa. But he tried to putting the jyotis various thick sheets of iron on top but the powerful and miraculous jyotis came above tearing the iron sheets.
The foolish general was not ready to accept his defeat; he went up the hill to get a river down the temple through a temporary path of stones and flooded the auspicious jyotis with the running water and how the water started filling the area, the more powerful became the jyotis. When the temple was completely flooded with water, but mata jyotis started floating over the water. The general hard to accept with grief, but he realized his mistake. He realized that he should have never done such a deed of sin. After that he walks bare feet to Maa Jwala Ji and offers a Sava Mann chhattar of gold as an apology. Maa Jwala refused to accept the same as the gold chhattar turned immediately dark to unknown metal. To seeing this Akbar fell on his feet and begged for forgiveness of the sin. Maa is said to have forgiven Akbar. He prayed and returned back to Delhi happily.
