How To Be Kind To Yourself

“There are three things, really important in our life: 1st is to be kind, 2nd is to be kind and the third-one is to be kind to yourself”

Being kind to yourself is one of the main ingredient that helps you to improve your life and relationships. This will help you to feel happier overall and improve your sense of deserving good things in life. If you seriously want a change then you should start new habits from today.

Here are nine habits and trust me they are good:-

1. Invest in yourself.

This step only need 15 to 20 minutes of yours by reading, writing, listening or watching something that uplifts you and helps you to understand yourself, your presence and the world.

Believe me this really helps you to live a better life.

2. Unstressed tonight.

After a long day first calm yourself may be take a bath and after sometime talk to someone about something that frustrates you the most.

3. Appreciate Yourself.

Ask yourself that what three things you can appreciate about yourself:

  • You are a good listener?
  • Good reader?
  • Love for animals?

From the others point of view may be this is nothing but this is important for you. The important thing is to appreciate you for small or very small things.

4. Something Positive.

If you feel depressed, then take a small step towards something positive like:

  • Plan a dinner or coffee with your best buddies.
  • Make a plan how you can grow in your career.
  • Or try a new hobby.

5. Be kinder towards others.

If you treat others not in a good manner, then that means the same you do with yourself. So be kinder towards others and make some new friends. Encourage them, motivate them.

6. Be your own best friend.

Be a kind and supportive friend to yourself, whenever needed. Ask yourself what you can learn from each and every obstacle you faced in life, motivate yourself and move forward once again.

7. Take a laugh-break.

Take some time from your busy schedule and laugh, laugh like a crazy person and if you cannot do this by your own then read a comic book or some funny jokes, share with others. Believe me, it helps you a lot to release all the stress and tension.

8. The future is still in your hands.

Don’t ever get stuck in your past like what have you done or what went wrong.

This is the time where you can really think that what you want from your life:

  • A good health?
  • Your career plan?
  • Better relationship?

Take a single small step towards your first goal then another tomorrow.

9. Why it is smart to be kinder to yourself.

From my experience, it becomes easier and easier to be kind to yourself if you properly follow these steps.

  • positive relationships with yourself
